Transition Services

The Ministry of Social Development (MSD) fund providers nationally to support ORS Funded students (with high and very high learning needs) in their last year of school.  MSD Transition Providers assist students with major decisions they and their family/whanau make when moving from school to the wider community.  Options may include moving into paid or voluntary work, further education or community participation.
For more information about how to prepare and plan for transition from school to your community chat with your school's staff member responsible for transition.
