Mapura Studios
Mapura Studios (formerly Spark Centre of Creative Development) is a creative space offering innovative art programmes for people of all abilities, with particular care given to ensuring those with diverse needs are provided for. The sessions provide a learning process in visual arts education especially orientated to the requirements and circumstances of their artists; they also promote and encourage self-development through the vehicle of creative expression.

Parkside School
Parkside School  is one of the leading schools for those students with impairments.  There curriculum is designed to respond to the unique characteristics of students who have needs that may not be met by the regular school curriculum.

Sunnydene Special School 

Sunnydene is a school for children with intellectual impairments.  It consists of a base school and 7 satellite classes based at May Road Primary (double unit), Dominion Road Primary (double unit), Balmoral Intermediate (double unit) and Onehunga High.

Wilson School

Wilson School is a state school which welcomes students who have a range of impairments and special learning needs.  There are a number of satellite classes located in mainstream schools in our local area.

Transition Services

Geneva Elevator

If you are a student with a diverse need, Geneva Elevator can offer you a coordinated 'transition from school' programme.  They work together with you, your family and your school to help you achive your goals for the future.  Transition Specialists work alongside you to develop your own personal Transition Plan into: training, tertiary study, work experience, voluntary work, paid work, or other options.

The Disability Liaison Centre provides flexible learning support for students in Certificate through to Master level programmes to enable them to reach their academic potential.
