Looking for someone to come and speak to your community group?

Did you know that ILS provide a Free Mobile Information and Equipment Service which takes information into Auckland’s communities, through tailored presentations to community groups, retirement villages, social and disability support groups.

The Mobile Service also provides free in-home demonstrations, to assist you with selecting the right scooter or power chair that best suits your needs, and home environment. Plus, they’ll happily provide free delivery and in-home training for any scooter or power chair purchase in the Auckland region.

The theme is 'Determinants of health including mental wellbeing'.

Anzac Day is a time to reflect on the servicemen and servicewomen, past and present, who have displayed courage and self-sacrifice serving our country.

Parades & services 

There are more than 80 Anzac Day parades and services being held across the Auckland region on Wednesday 25 April 2018.

New this year – prepare for your local service by downloading the programme (available here from 20 April) onto your phone or device.

When attending any parades and services, we strongly recommend you bring water with you, wear a hat and make sure you’ve put on sunscreen.

Māori Television broadcast

If you can’t attend an Anzac Day event in person, the Dawn Service in front of Auckland War Memorial Museum will be broadcast live on Māori Television from 5.45am. 
Coverage will start from 5.20am and the hosts will be Julian Wilcox and Alison Mau.

Vector Lights

Vector Lights on Auckland Harbour Bridge will shine to support Poppy Day on Friday 20 April, 6pm-midnight.

On Wednesday 25 April, the bridge will commemorate Anzac Day with a stunning light and sound show from 3am-7am (coinciding with dawn services) and 6pm-midnight.

Lego® lovers look out!

Kids and adults will come face-to-face with LEGO® versions of world famous landmarks including a giant LEGO® Arc de Triomphe, LEGO Empire State Building with King Kong, LEGO® Big Ben, a LEGO® Leaning Tower of Pisa and even a LEGO® version of Michelangelo’s Statue of David!
